ABOUT ME
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, with two masters in Clinical Psychology and years of experience. Since graduating from San Francisco State University (2013) I have trained and worked at various mental health settings in San Francisco including adult outpatient clinic (Richmond Area Multi-Services), college and schools (SFSU Psychology Clinic, multiple SFUSD schools while at Edgewood Center).
I knew from an early age that I wanted to work with people. My personality and innate curiosity, along with a strong sense of 'to each his own' proved to be a good combination for my chosen career. Being non-judgemental and patient are inborn strengths and extensive education and training have enhanced my clinical knowledge and skills.
To be the best therapist I can be for you, I continue investing in myself, seeking consultation with other professionals, working with my own therapist and continually reading and taking courses to stay in touch with the current developments in psychology. Thankfully it never feels like a chore I have to do, I genuinely enjoy learning :)
"Being the “best you can be” is really only possible when you are deeply connected to another. Splendid isolation is for planets, not people."
